HA KO Holiday Ornament Set W(Cedar)
Scented Leaves for Your Tree
HA KO are a series of elegant, leaf-shaped paper incense that can be enjoyed as potpourri, or burned like traditional incense.
Inspired by a walk through a fresh, coniferous forest, this limited edition Christmas Set features 5 individual cedar-scented leaves that can be used as tree ornaments and then later as incense.
The silk-braided kumihimo strings used to hang the leaves are made by Kyoto's long-established Shoen Kumihimo and can be easily removed prior to lighting.
Not only is there space for a message but the packaging can be used as an envelope by simply adding your own stamp, making this the perfect gift for loved ones near and far.

HA KO, a combination of the words ha (葉; leaf) and ko (香; incense) is produced by Kunjudo, a 120-year old maker of incense founded in 1893 on Awaji Island. The oldest record of incense in Japan can be found in The Nihon Shoki (日本書紀) where it states that aromatic wood drifted onto Awaji Island. Located in Japan’s Seto Inland Sea, Awaji Island has preserved this tradition of incense and, for hundreds of years, continued to rethink it. Throughout their history, Kunjudo has created stable, high-quality incense by working with fragrance master and artisans.
