A handmade light plate by Chiba-based potter Akihiro Terada, whose tactile works are as joyful to touch as they are to eat off of. Terada emphasizes the texture of his dark clay, which he sources from Mie prefecture. Each piece is gas-fired in a kiln at Terada's studio, which overlooks the rice paddies and rolling hills of Chiba.
