Brass Renge Soup Spoon

This is a brass renge soup spoon. The bowl of the spoon has a tin coating while the handle retains its hand-hammered texture.

Renge (蓮華) literally means lotus flower and the spoons take inspiration from the shape of the petals. In Japan, they typically accompany ramen or fried rice but can be used for any kind of soup.
