The Art of the Bowl
Gato Mikio's bowls are designed to follow traditional Japanese food culture that has been preserved through generations. These wooden bowls are hand-turned from Japanese Zelkova wood, which is prized for its quality and grain.
Traditional and simple in its overall form, this bowl's rim is delicately shaped like a flower petal. The lacquer finish creates an elegant luster that accentuates the grain of the wood.
