Aromas of Kyoto
During our recent travels, we discovered these lovely sachets filled with fragrances inspired by Kyoto. We put one in our closet and enjoy the gentle, lingering scent every time we go in. But they can be placed anywhere around the home. The pouch is made of hand-spun and handwoven linen, adorned with a silk tassel.
Gion no Maiko – Maiko of Gion (yellow)
A sweet, powdery fragrance that lingers like the faint scent of face powder drifting from a maiko’s flowing sleeves.
Kitano no Kōbai – Red Plum of Kitano (red)
A noble and refined scent, reminiscent of crimson plum blossoms standing gracefully amid the faint snow.
