A new kind of storytelling
The palm-sized 360-degree book tells a story in a very traditional way. But it also opens up like a fan, creating an entirely 3-dimensional world. Each page is a finely crafted work of art that draws the viewer in from scene to scene.
Designed by Yusuke Oono, this version illustrates an 1814 manga created by iconic ukiyo-e artist Katsushika Hokusai, who expertly captures the motion of the human body and muscle movement in depicting the suzume-dori (literally, the swallow dance).
