A Quiet Tearoom
This candle's fragrance recalls the image of a quiet tearoom secluded by a dense bamboo forest. Imagine warm steam from the kama kettle and the fresh, green aroma of the tea as it is whipped with a whisk, mingled with the scent of the tatami mats. The ceramic holder, which has been created by celebrated designer Makoto Komatsu, can be used over again in any number of ways.
The candle is made using only domestically-sourced & plant-based ingredients, which allows them to burn cleaner while also emphasizing the beautiful, delicate scents.

For this new initiative, Shiono Koryo collaborated with renowned industrial designer Takumi Shimamura, known as the designer behind Tokyo's Hato Bus and DOCOMO mobile phone terminals.
