Sola Cube: Rice flower

$43.00

Showcasing the beauty and wonder of rocks and minerals

The history of rocks and minerals date back as far as earth itself. In fact, many are of particular interest because their compositions help us understand early solar system evolution. Intent on showcasing the wonder and beauty of minerals, Koichi Yoshimura developed a way to exquisitely preserve them in acrylic cubes. He called them “Sola Cubes.”

An Australia native, the rice flower is a woody shrub prized for its uncommon beauty. Its most notable feature lies in its blossoms, whose dense, spherical shape resembles grains of rice.
